Shirley Plantation for the Biennial Colonial Polo Cup on the polo & equestrian grounds of Virginia's oldest plantation. The match will see two top teams go head-to-head on the beautiful grounds, while plenty of other exciting activities will make sure the event is fun for the whole family. As is tradition, the spectators will be invited onto the field at half-time for "divot stomping."
Before the match begins, visitors can enjoy a picnic brought from home, or purchase food and beverages, shop the boutique tent, enter the raffle drawing, and enjoy the popular tailgate party. A parade will take place that includes the popular Fifes and Drums, color guard, carriage parade and more. Visitors will have a chance to see the hounds and watch the teams warm-up before the match begins. Afterward, a party will be hosted at the players tent to celebrate the match!
