Only July 6, 1781, American & British troops clashed at Green Spring, which was the last major battle of the Virginia campaign before the
Yorktown seige. For the anniversay of this battle, the Williamsburg Winery will be hosting a re-enactment and other special events.
In addition to the dramatic battle, visitors will enjoy other portrayals of day-to-day life of colonial soldiers at encampments and special demonstrations. There will be plenty of other activities offered for the entire family, so plan on spending a day explore the gorgeous grounds of the Williamsburg Winery as you re-live this historic occasion.
