Visitors can participate in the Annual Wreath Laying Ceremony at
Berkeley Plantation as well as enjoy strolls through the mansion's garden and more. This commemoration is in honor of Benjamin Harrison V., who signed the Declaration of Independence, a three-time Governor of Virginia, and a father and grandfather to two different U.S. Presidents. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk through the restored boxwood and flower gardens on the plantation, awe-inspiring views of the James River, and guided tours of this 1726 manor, and a living history program with the Daughters of the American Revolution. The festivities begin at 11 a.m. and last throughout the day.
