Designed by noted architect Robert Trent Jones, the pitch is a pleasure to watch with its beautifully maintained greens hidden away from the public eye by natural woods. This par 72 course was carved out of the woodland and has plenty of natural water hazards to allow an interesting game. There is also a practice bunker where you can hone your skills before you display them on the rolling greens, a chipping area and putting greens. A game at the Stumpy Lake Golf Course will cost you about $28 inclusive of a cart from 9 am to noon. You can also avail of a special early bird discount if you make it to the club before 9 am.
The Clubhouse is well-maintained and features a snack bar where you can feast on an array of hearty homemade soups and chili for lunch as well as several sumptuous breakfast options. In fact, the snack bar is incredibly popular with the locals here who stop by for a quick bite even if they aren't trying their teeing skills at the golf course.
