Located at 706 Atlantic Avenue in Virginia Beach, the Black Angus Restaurant is, of course, known for steak. For more than 50 years, Black Angus Restaurant has served local residents and visitors to the oceanfront community. In a "business casual" atmosphere, diners have enjoyed the fine service and menu here since 1953. The current restaurant is not the original location. The new restaurant was designed by an area architect, with a focus on providing seating for more than 400 guests, as well as providing a comforting atmosphere for diners. . The name was established by a contest held in the 1950s, with the winner receiving $500 and dinner for two.
Keep in mind that Black Angus Restaurant does not accept reservations. However, the general policy is that if diners call ahead by about 30 minutes or 45 minutes, and then have to wait when they arrive, the group name is added to a short waiting list.
