Undersea Gardens Ltd in Victoria, BC

Just about everyone is curious about what goes on under the ocean and just as many people are fascinated when they get a chance to experience marine wildlife.Thanks to Undersea Gardens Ltd. in Victoria, British Columbia, young and old can enjoy and learn at this exciting venue. 

With a great location at the Inner Harbour of Victoria, near downtown, Pacific Undersea Gardens is a great way to see the marine life of this beautiful region.  On the lower level of the facility, visitors witness life 15 feet below the surface.  The display includes more than 5,000 individuals of different species. Visitors look through large windows directly into this marine world.  In addition, a tidal pond display helps visitors enjoy and learn, while even handling some of the ocean life.

A uniquely designed theatre gives spectators a great view as a staff guide introduces one of the undersea divers.  With the special facemask, the diver and guide take visitors through a journey that introduces sea stars, anemones, salmon, wolf eels and a Giant Pacific Octopus named Armstrong.  The shows last from 45 to 60 minutes.

Visitors enjoy a trip through the Treasure Cove Gift Shop, featuring marine-related toys, postcards, jewelry and much more.  The choices include great crafts and ceramics, as well as snacks for visitor enjoyment.

Undersea Gardens welcomes school groups and party groups.
