Visited the Gardens in April, 1989 with friends from Australia (I lived in CA then). It was one of the most spectacular sights I have ever enjoyed, the cherry trees (?488) were in bloom along with the tulips and other spring flowers. Wish I could have stayed longer and have shared this recollection with many who are unacquainted with the spectacular beauty. Long life and good health to the Gardens!
