You can start at the Foundation room and move forward with the Conquer and Colonies, Slavery, Revolution and Independence exhibits to journey through the history of Mexico with the host of artifacts, documents and other souvenirs. The museum also takes a mammoth step back in time with its archaeological exhibits which depict the Totonaca and Olmeca Cultures. For a taste of modern-day Mexico, head to the first floor which has an array of contemporary art and crafts displays, each of which are created by some of the most significant artisans of recent times.
