Sweet Basil in Vail, CO is located at 193 Gore Street. It's classified as a modern American restaurant right in the middle of Vail Village. It received the honor of once being voted Colorado's Most Popular Restaurant by the Zagat survey.

Sweet Basil was established in 1977. It's a popular location for locals, but many travelers enjoy this restaurant as well. When the restaurant first opened, it was small and only seated 47 people. Today it's still in the same location where it was in 1977, but it's grown to be a much larger restaurant with a seating capacity of 130 people.

Sweet Basil is open for lunch every day from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm. There's an Apres Ski menu served every day from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. Nightly dinner is served starting at 5:30 pm. Saturday and Sunday brunch is available from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Reservations are accepted for both lunch and dinner parties. Reservations can be made up to two months in advance. Walk-ins are welcome in the dining room, but it's suggested that patrons make reservations for groups of five or more. The bar provides a full menu service on a first come first served basis.
Group events for 10 to 50 people can be booked in the private dining room.
