Colorado Ski Museum in Vail, CO

Opened in 1976, the Colorado Ski Museum & Snowboard Hall Of Fame features an all-encompassing look at the history of skiing and snowboarding. Thousands of artifacts, articles, equipment and pictures that detail the many accomplishments and advancements in skiing and snowboarding. The museum tends to focus primarily on the the history of Colorado's snow sports, but there are other exhibits featuring various Olympic and world wide accomplishments. From browsing through the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame to watching Fire on the Mountain, a documentary on Colorado's 10th Mountain Division, there's a variety of exhibits to satisfy everyone who visits.
