Since opening a restaurant in Aspen (1994) owners Luigi and Elizabeth Giordani have served what many considered the most authentic (and delicious) Italian cuisine anywhere in the United States. Now offering fine Italian dining at four locations, Camp de Fiori also features a friendly, often festive atmosphere that only adds to the experience.
The Vail location continues the tradition of great service that began almost 14 years ago in Aspen. Owner Luigi Giordani, Chef Berto Paglia and Chef Simone Reatti develop the menus, relying on years of experienced and on training at a top culinary institute in Rome. All of this can be enjoyed while relaxing on the veranda, with Vail Mountain as a backdrop.
With an atmosphere that can be both casual and elegant, meal prices at Campo de Fiori range from $31 to $50. Located at 100 East Meadow Drive, some say the restaurant is a bit hard to find in its tucked-away location. However, diners seem to find the location in great numbers and all come away with positive reports about the excellent meals and great atmosphere.
With a focus on Tuscan atmosphere and northern Italian cuisine, Campo de Fiori in Vail attracts locals nightly and soon becomes a favorite of visitors from around the world. Not only does the Vail restaurant make the top of nearly everyone's list, but the Denver and Aspen locations also consistently rate as "best" in most surveys. The restaurant can be quite busy so it's best to get there early or check on reservations. More information about Campo de Fiori is available by calling (970) 476-8994.
