Those who want a peek at a few of the most rare automobiles in the United States might make the trip to Mac's Antique Car Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There the car aficionado can get close to the 1948 Hudson that was featured in the great movie "Driving Miss Daisy," which starred Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman, as well as view many other rare automobiles.  Located at 1319 East Fourth Street in Tulsa, Mac's Antique Car Museum displays more than four dozen vintage cars, including LaSalle, Packard, a 1926 Chrysler Roadster and much more.  The 1986 Rolls in the museum is quite a sight, with television/VCR, intercom and refrigerator!

According to information from Gene Curtis in "Only in Oklahoma" Tulsa is also home to a Tulsa Four automobile, the only car of its kind remaining in the world.  According to Curtis, this rare auto was purchased from Mac McGlumphy (the same Mac as in Mac's Antique Car Museum).  The Tulsa Historical Society transported the Tulsa Four to the airport, where visitors can see it in a special display. The Tulsa Four was produced and used from about 1916 to 1923.  The car was reportedly discovered in a rural ravine in the 1970s.  Mac McGlumphy bought the vehicle for his museum and eventually sold it to be displayed at the airport as part of Tulsa's heritage. It was sold when McGlumphy passed away.
