This Smithsonian affiliate is not only the largest and oldest antropology museum in the southwest, but also the state's official repository for archaeological information. This makes for one incredible journey through the history of the region that visitors are going to be sure to enjoy. Here you can experience large collections of Southwest indian pottery and more ethnographic artifacts. One particularly good collection is their set of over 500 Mexican folk masks.
