Arizona State Museum in Tucson


As a century old museum inTucson, the Arizona State Museum is home to an incredible variety of exhibits aimed at preserving the cultural material of the region. This Smithsonian affiliate is not only the largest and oldest antropology museum in the southwest, but also the state's official repository for archaeological information. Here you can experience large collections of Southwest indian pottery and more ethnographic artifacts. One particularly good collection is their set of over 500 Mexican folk masks.
