Celebrate your Independence Day with a bang, in one of the hottest cities in the Southwest.
If the kids get bored of free music or wandering through the shops and other attractions, then take them to cool off at Justin's Water World. This local water park, set just outside Tucson, has been open for as long as anyone can remember, and if the 4th is situated on a Friday or weekend, should provide ample distraction for hot, restless kids.
Trail Dust Town is a campy Old West recreation that offers shoot outs, a great steakhouse, saloon, and a general store with more old time-y wares than you can shake a stick out.
