Originally a military base, Downsview Park in Toronto, ON now makes up an urban park and testing facility for Bombardier Aerospace.
Yearly, crowds gather to enjoy Canadian holidays in this park. Concerts, festivals, and other gatherings are held there- the largest ticketed event in history was held on July 30, 2003.
The 600-acre site will remain a green space despite whatever use the public gets out of it, meaning that no matter how crowded and busy Toronto ever gets, this site will always be a speck of serenity.
