What a great and unique place to spend the holiday. Toronto Zoo is one of the World???s largest zoos, with over 5,000 animals and 710 acres. Over 1.3 million visitors a year visit this zoo! The annual New Year???s Family Countdown is a festive evening complete with music, entertainment and animal visitors, of course! The kid???s countdown starts early in the evening. This is an outdoor event, and you must have a ticket to attend. It is often sold out, so it is suggested you purchase tickets ahead of time. The Toronto Zoo is located on Meadowvale Rd north of Hwy 401 (exit 389) in Scarborough. It is also accessible through public transportation if you don???t want to drive on this holiday evening.
