Annual Christmas Treats Walk at the Toronto Zoo in Toronto, ON
Strolling Christmas carolers, lots of hot chocolate, tigers and polar bears, make this holiday event at Toronto Zoo a celebration unique to the area.
Walk the Tundra Trek, view the polar bears, reindeer and other animals of the 710-acre zoo during the annual Christmas Treats Walk.
The animals get seasonal treats, and zoo visitors get free hot chocolate to chase away the December chill during this out-of-doors event. Guests are reminded to dress appropriately for the day's weather.
Celebrated for more than three decades, the long-running Walk also benefits area food banks. Patrons are asked to get into the season's spirit of giving by bringing non-perishable food items to donate.
