Niagara-on-the-Lake
Located at the mouth of the Niagara River, Niagara-on-the-Lake, with it's 19th century charm, had a keyrole in early government. Visit its numerous forts, grand mansions, colorful gardens and parks.
Beginning the tour at 2:00pm leaves plenty of daylight to enjoy the amazing scenery of the orchard-laden Niagara Peninsula, historic Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Maid of the Mist boat ride to the base of the Horseshoe Falls. You'll enjoy a buffet dinner at the Penthouse Dining Room, looking out over the panoramic beauty of the Falls. The mouth-watering buffet stretches 80 feet, with sections for vegetarians and meat-lovers, plus, you'll find fish, pastas, fresh-baked breads and home-baked cookies, coffee and tea among the spread.
After dinner, you'll head to the Minolta Tower, with the option to ride to 525 feet above the base of the Falls to their observation deck. Or stay at ground level--either way, you'll be in perfect position for the multi-colored illumination show.
