The Native Sons Adventure Company based in Taos, New Mexico is an outdoor adventure company that offers rafting kayaking and camping tours. The tours take place in the wilderness of the Rio Grande and Sangre de Cristo mountains where you can experience the scenic gorges and high peaks.
There are a number of rafting courses including The Racecourse half-day adventure over class II and III rapids. One the Racecourse Inflatable Tour you'll get a chance to negotiate your own 8- foot funyak through three sections of the Rio Grande — the racecourse, the lower gorge or the remote middle box sections. The all-day Taos box rafting tour takes rafters through pristine landscapes, and into the deeper parts of the gorge — there are 20 sets of thrilling Class III and IV rapids to negotiate. Lunch is provided on the beach at Rattlesnake Wash.
There is a combination tour for mountain bikers and rafters featuring a 12-mile bike ride through fabulous scenery - followed by 6 miles of whitewater fun.
