El Monte Sagrado in Taos, NMThe El Monte Sagrado Living Resort in Taos, New Mexico is a high-end resort that "offers secluded sanctuary in harmony with the Earth." It is a recipient of the AAA Four-Diamond Award and is also a member of the Leading Small Hotels of the World.
Native American and global culture inspired the accommodations. The resort is filled with art collects from world-famous artists. The resort also offers spa treatments in the Living Spa and has an AAA Four-Diamond award-winning De la Tierra restaurant. The Living Spa is designed "to heal mind, body and spirit, or simply meditate in the Sacred Circle among towering trees and waterfalls, and breathe in the tranquility." The El Monte Sagrado Living Resort is a leader in alternative energy and has been listed on the elite Gold List in Travel and Leisure an Conde Nast Traveler. There are 84 culturally inspired guestrooms, suites and casitas, year-round recreation and concierge service. Walls are hand painted with the work of local TaoseƱo artists. Some rooms have pueblo-style gas fireplaces and hot tubs. Other amenities the resort offers include private courtyards and patios, a BOSE radio/Cd player in most rooms, private label organic toiletries, robes and slippers, complimentary Internet access, daily newspaper deliver, nightly turndown/amenity, and OnCommand TV with cable channels.
