For families who are vacationing in Florida and for those new to the area, the Tampa Children's Musuem is a must see attraction. The Museum is located on North Boulevard just North of the Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa. The Museum is open every day of the week apart from Mondays and national holidays such as Independence Day, Christmas and Thanksgiving. Entrance fees are five dollars each for adults and children of one year upwards.

Here children can experience making the burgers and then selling them to other children when they come up to the drive in window. The firehouse is there to give children an experience of the fire fighters life along with educational materials on safety. The museum also runs special events and parties during the school holidays so it is well worth taking a look at this innovative project.
