Located near beautiful Tampa, MacDill Air Force Base will be a great stop for both veterans and non-military visitors.
Unfortunately, due to new security measures, this location no longer offers tours for families or individuals. Those planning organization trips should call ahead of time to ensure a spot, otherwise admittance may not be granted.
The 6th AMW is America's first most mobility team, home to US Central Command, Special Operations Command, and many other exciting partners that are pivotal to ensure that our nation continues to run smoothly.
Though it may be hard to gain access, MacDill Air Force Base is still exciting. Those visiting in the area may find it an interesting stop for the constant air traffic.
