You'll find ancient Indian burial grounds, temple/platform mounds, a plaza area, and a substantial midden on this 61-acre National Historic Landmark.
This location has long served as a ceremonial site for Native Americans. For years, people travelled from long distances to bury their dead on the "hallowed ground," as well as conduct trade. It is believed that close to 7,500 Native Americans visit this site each year.
Admission is $2 per carload (limit of eight people per car).
Pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicles with a holder of an Annual Individual Entrance permit Admission Fee $1.00 per person. Bus tour admission fee is $40.00 or $1.00 per person whichever is less (the driver is free). This site is a National Historic Landmark and is ADA accessible.
