Visit a place that's fun, as well as a hands-on educational experience for your child, from fun interactive exhibits, classes, field trips, and more. There is something here for children of all ages, with preschool exhibits like "By the seashore," and "Under the Sea," for children 4 and under.
For the older child, there are exhibits which simulate what life in the adult world is like with a library, a "drive-up" McDonalds, where your child can make burgers and "serve" them to kids coming up to the drive-in window! Also, there is a firehouse to teach fire safety, a grocery store, Safety Station, a Verizon Communications Center, and so much more! Your child is sure to love it!
Admission is $5 for adults and children over one year old. Children less than one year old are admitted free. Parking is free, and there is a picnic area. The museum is open 9 AM to 5 PM Tuesday-Friday, 10 AM to 5 PM Saturday, Noon to 5 Pm Sunday. The museum is close on Mondays, and open 9 AM to 2 PM on school holidays.
