Wild Wonderland at Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa, FL
Dancing fountains, crystal trees, and millions of sparkling lights turn the Zoo into a winter Wild Wonderland.
The annual festival of lights and seasonal decorations at Tampa's Lowry Park Zoo make for a memorable celebration with friends and family. Enjoy the millions of energy-efficient bright LED lights used in the animated displays. Children, and grown ups too, take delight in the laser light shows, a spectacular Frozen Forest of crystal trees and animals.
Bring the kids to visit with Santa Claus and some of his live reindeer. Horse-drawn carriage rides are available, complete with the distinctive jingle of bells along the harness rigging. Favorite sounds of the season echo through the Windows on Main Street, an exhibit of department store windows.
View the vista from above aboard Skyfari, the tree-top level sky ride. It's one of the many unlimited free zoo rides guests are welcome to enjoy during the festival.
Little ones find Frosty fun at the Foam Factory. Tampa's weather isn't snow-friendly, so Frosty and Co. have created and alternative, bubble foam snow.
