Thanksgiving Boogie & Turkey Meet at Skydive City
What better way to spend Thanksgiving week then at Skydive City's Thanksgiving Boogie and Turkey Meet? The week long event allows skydivers to gather together at Skydive City in Zephryhills, Florida just outside of Tampa. Together the skydivers enjoy fun skydiving events. The event features a way speed competition and a way FS. If you are more interested in watching, than participating in, the events then you are still more than welcome to participate in the festivities. Spectators will enjoy the thrill of watching talented skydivers perform their sport.
Skydive City offers fabulous facilities. They use full time Twin Otter aircraft. The property is more than 14 acres and offers lots of area for free camping. Onsite facilities include a café, bar, laundry and, hot showers. There is a great social scene after the skydiving activities of the Thanksgiving Boogie and Turkey Meet have finished for the day.
The Sunshine Factory Pro Shop is one of the world's largest suppliers of skydiving equipment and is located right on site at Skydive City. So, if you want to upgrade your equipment or purchase new equipment you can do it with the guidance of experts in the field during your stay.
Skydive City does offer skydiving lessons so if you would like to improve your skills prior to the big Thanksgiving Boogie and Turkey meet then you can take advantage of this service.
