Step into those stilettos to help stomp autism. Jules Burt's High Heel Hike, a 1K strut, strolls into three Florida cities to benefit Jenny McCarthy's 'Generation Rescue for Autism."

The annual hike will crown a High Heel Queen, Teen Queen and Princess, determined by the participant who raises the most donations for the autism recovery organization. Burt received the Key to the City of Tampa from the mayor for commendation of her charitable works.

Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey's autism organization, Generation Rescue, researches the treatment and causes of autism, Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and chronic childhood illness, and involves scientists and doctors from around the world. Parent-volunteers help thousands of families in efforts to recover their children.

Though the common approach looks at autism considers it a permanent, life-long condition, Generation Rescue for Autism holds the position that the condition is treatable and reversible.
