Annual Members' Show at Florida Museum of Photographic Arts in Tampa, FL

Florida Museum of Photographic Arts hosts an annual members show, featuring a photo framing workshop by professional framer, Jim Swallow.

The informative workshop will cover framing, printing, matting and digital mats. Participants will also learn to determine the best presentation for their photo works , and how to achieve a gallery-quality finish. Minimum class size is 6 attendees, with a limit of 25 participants.

Judged competition includes several broadly-interpreted categories, open to interpretation. Creative Mediums might include mixed media, digital manipulation, extensive alteration, and collages. The Details category involves close-up, patterns, symmetry, and abstracts. Documentaries, Events depicting significant moments, Portraiture, Travel and Natural/Landscape are other categories members may choose from.

Awards will be given for Best in Show, First Place in categories, Members' Choice and Honorable Mention. Winners receive cash or prizes, as well as a certificate. All judges decisions are final.
