Ski season may have ended in May, but that doesn't mean that there isn't plenty going on at Tamarack! Tamarack hosts many outdoor events that are open to the public right at the resort. With Tamarack's exciting summer events, you'll get an added bonus to all the activities already available at Tamarack Resort. So check your calendars, and schedule your Tamarack vacation during one of the events listed below!
Team Tamarack Cycle Weekend
The Team Tamarack Cycle Weekend is offered on four different weekends throughout the summer, making this cycling weekend a possibility for many visitors to Tamarack. The Team Tamarack Cycle Weekends are on June 24th and 25th, July 1st and 2nd, July 29th and 30th, and September 2nd to the 4th. On the Cycle Weekends, you can embark on different biking tours on Tamarack's scenic trails. The resort's Team Riders are available during these weekends for cycling tips and training questions so that you'll be able to make the most of one of these weekends.
Competitions: Raid World Cup and the Idaho State Championships
Tamarack is going to be hosting two renowned competitions. The Raid World Cup, occurring from June 9th to June 11th, features a series of different races including kayaking, bike racing, and running. More than 50 teams from around the world will be at Tamarack to compete in these races, which will take place in Tamarack's forests, mountains, Lake Cascade, and the whitewater trails. This event has previously taken place in locations around the globe, and will be broadcasted both internationally and nationally. In addition to the Raid World Cup, Tamarack will also be hosting the final races of the Idaho State Championship Cross Country and Downhill Mountain Biking competition on August 19th and 20th. These races will be taking place on 15 to 30 mile bike trails through the beautiful scenery of Tamarack.
Mountain Bike Challenge for Multiple Sclerosis
This event will be a fundraiser hosted by Tamarack Resort to raise money and awareness for Multiple Sclerosis on August 19th and 20th. Tamarack welcomes bikers of all ages and skill levels to participate in this event. A lift and trail pass is given to all the participants so that they will have full weekend access to Tamarack's mountain trails. Meals and entertainment will also be provided during this event, making this an ideal weekend excursion.
