Hit the slopes at Tamarack Resort near Donnelly, Idaho to experience what is quickly becoming one of the most popular ski areas in the United States since opening. At Tamarack, skiers will enjoy a wide breadth of terrain for all skill levels from beginners to experts across mountains that enjoy an average of 300 inches of snowfall every year. More than 50 percent of the slopes at Tamarack area ideal for intermediate skiers, while 15 percent are reserved for beginners and 29 percent for advanced athletes. The mountain is also home to two terrain parks, including an advanced park with high jumps & rails and a beginner park with smaller boxes and jumps that is ideal for families. Tamarack is also home to a phenomenal superpipe that stretches 400 feet in length and towers 18 feet high.
Lift tickets are valid for access to all seven of the resort's ski lifts, including the Tamarack Express which rises 1,700 feet in 8 minutes. Thirty-nine trails are available across 850 acres of skiable terrain with an east-facing slopes that enjoys maximum snow retention and minimum wind interference. Other activities include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing.
