The Upstate Medical University is running a study in schools to assess the usefulness of telemedicine as an aid to monitoring those children who are diabetic. The University also uses puppet shows in an attempt to promote a greater understanding of those children who are diagnosed as autistic. It has also produced a resource for health practitioners to help them to monitor and manage child and adolescent abuse.
