Lemoyne College in Syracuse, NY is an independent college that was established by Catholic Jesuits in 1946. The College's mission is to create a "diverse learning community that strives for academic excellence in Catholic and Jesuit tradition through its comprehensive programs rooting in the liberal arts and sciences."
Lemoyne College puts an emphasis on teaching the who person and strives to "prepare its members for leadership and service in their personal and professional lives to promote a more just society."
Since the college's creation, it has grown into a nationally acclaimed college. Students throughout the United States and the world apply to become students of Lemoyne College. Students at the college represent 27 states and 17 foreign countries.
There are more than 700 courses that lead to Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degrees. These degrees come in 29 different majors. The college also offers MBA and master's degrees in general education, physician assistant studies and teaching. Also available is a Certificate of Advanced Study in Educational Leadership and Master of Science and Post-Master's certificate programs in nurse administration and nurse education.

Mass is performed on Sundays at 10 am in the Shanahan Chapel and 7 pm in the Madonna della Strada Chapel. Weekday mass is performed Monday to Friday at 12:10 pm in the Shanahan Chapel, and at 5:15 pm Tuesday to Friday at the Jesuit Residence.
