While Snowbird, Utah, has the nationally renowned Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort, but Snowbird is also an ideally located city that puts you conveniently close to major Utah attractions. Snowbird is only 25 miles away from Salt Lake City and 35 and a half miles away from historic Park City. With these cities less than an hour away, you'll find much to do in this area both indoors and outside.

Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort

This all season resort offers any visitor a plethora of activities from outdoor recreation to a visit to the spa. Park City

Park City is a quaint resort city that has not only outdoor recreation but also great shopping, dining, and entertainment. Park City's Main Street has a line of charming shops that sell everything from art to antique furniture. You'll find sports shops, restaurants, boutiques, and more on Main Street. Because Park City is a former mining town, the city has an interesting history. The Park City Museum tells of this city's past as a mining town with many interesting objects and sights such as a restored original stagecoach, the Territorial Jail, and the last remaining car of the world's first underground ski lift. Also located in Park City is Utah Olympic Park, the location of many of the 2002 Olympic Games.

Salt Lake City

Salt Lake City has all the bustle of a city amidst beautiful Utah scenery. Like Park City and Snowbird, the city presents opportunities for outdoor recreation with resorts and state parks nearby, but Salt Lake City offers the intrigue of a city. The city is home to a wide variety of cultural events, classic and contemporary architecture, and museums and historic sites. Salt Lake City has many great shopping destinations as well, like Trolley Square, Sugar House, and downtown malls. Salt Lake City also has an International Airport plus Greyhound and Amtrak stations.
