Grand Experience

The Grand Experience offers just that - an immersive and encompassing look at the Grand Canyon's history, and it's present day state. The first stop along this tour will be the Grand Canyon IMAX Theater. Here, visitors will have the chance to take in the 7-story screen presentation "Grand Canyon - The Hidden Secrets." After the film, you'll have the chance to dine at either the Maswik Lodge or El Tovar before beginning your ascent to the actual Canyon. Your Grand Canyon experience will be along the East Rim, with a special stop at the Navajo Nation's Historic Cameron Trading Post. From experiencing the history of the Grand Canyon by film to witnessing the majestic awe and rich culture of the area first-hand, the Grand Experience truly delivers its namesake.

About the Maswick Lodge

The Maswick Lodge offers a casual dining atomsphere complete with salads, pastas, pizza, burgers, sandwiches and Mexican cuisine. In short, it's a light-hearted restaurant offering something for everyone.

About the El Tovar

The El Tovar is a Registered Historic Landmark, and offers an impresive, up-scale dining experience. Items such as blackened rainbow trout, stuffed pork chops, grilled chicken breast and a variety of gourmet salads, sandwiches and pastas are all offered at the El Tovar.
