At the Museum of Flight you're free to board Air Force One, World War fighter planes, and the cockpit of a Blackbird spy plane. Located next door to Boeing Field, the museum displays 54 planes from the dawn of aviation to the Space Age. You'll see old and unusual planes, from a Wright brothers' replica glider, to the Gossamer Condor, a human-powered airplane. The new Personal Courage wing covers military aircraft from both world wars.
Outside of the six-story glass-and-steel repository, visitors can board America's first presidential jet--- the original Air Force One. Also, Boeing's original airplane factory, the Red Barn, still stands--now an exhibit of Boeing's early designs and engineering. And in the summer, you don't need wings to fly. Biplane rides are usually offered in front of the museum.
