The Lake City Community Center in Seattle, Washington hosts a number of events throughout the year in this lovely area. One of the biggest events of the year is the Lake City Pioneer Days and Parade which celebrates the pioneering past of this cozy little community.
Lake City itself is in northeastern Seattle between I-5 and Lake Washington. Originally inhabited by Native Americans in permanent settlement near the lake, the area now enjoys a small town atmosphere without giving up any of the luxuries of big city life.
