Hing Hay Park in Seattle, Washington is a major part of the International District and is the site for many community events. As one enters the park, the eye is immediately drawn to the ornate grand pavillion designed and constructed in Taipei, Taiwan. Artwork includes a dragon in a depiction of Asian-American history.
Daily, the park is a popular spot for luching and a gathering place for groups and families. Every July, the Chinatown-International District Summer Festival is held here including arts and crafts, cuisine, dance, music and various live entertainment.
