Northwest Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In near Seattle, WA
For over 40 years, the annual Northwest Experimental Aircraft Association Fly-In has brought together aircraft enthusiasts from across the country in Arlington, Washington, located about an hour north of Seattle. Held over five days in July each year, the festival features over 1600 airplanes, including vintage, sport, experimental, and former military aircrafts. Over 60,000 spectators attend the event every year, and the festival can boast that it is the third largest aviation event in the United States.
In addition to the contant airshows and aircraft displays, visitors can also enjoy aerobatics performances, fireworks displays, and presentations on the history and technology of aircraft innovation. Children and families are welcome, and children's play areas and activites are offered throughout the festival.
