Luly Yang Annual Couture Runway Show at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA

Seattle, Washington may not be traditionally known as a fashion destination, but local designer Luly Yang brings out the couture fiends, fashionistas and philanthropists every year with her annual runway show, held at a venue in downtown Seattle. Yang's decadent and fun designs make for a high-energy show that always leaves everyone talking. The show is traditionally held in mid-October.

Each year, the evening benefits a local charity, and aspects of the charity are often incorporated into the show. For example, in 2008 proceeds from the show went to benefit Camp Korey, a camp for school-aged children and teenagers with terminal illnesses. Children from the camp modeled Yang's couture line along with the runway models. Tickets for the show usually start around $125, and include admission to the show and the preshow wine and hors d'oeuvres reception. VIP and Runway level tickets are available for higher prices and include perks such as valet parking, gift bags, afterparty admission and reserved seating.
