The Seattle Museum's newest exhibit features furniture, lamps, mosaics, metalwork, stained glass and interior designs by America's foremost creator of decorative arts.
Louis Comfort Tiffany is famous for his opulent jewelry. But he designed more than diamonds. And his clientele and fans weren't always women. Tiffany's produced decorative items for the lavish houses of his clients, including Samuel "Mark Twain" Clemens. And Frank Lloyd Wright wrote, "Tiffany was one of the most creative artist spirits of his time. He took that spirit into craftsmanship and did some remarkably beautiful things for any period."
The Seattle Art Museum is the first museum to display this exhibit, which features work that has never been seen before. The 120 piece exhibit is getting rave reviews. Arrive at the Seattle Art Museum early for a guided tour. And with the Museum's Café, you can have your breakfast with Tiffany.
