Skidaway Island Park is a place of scenic beauty with both salt water and fresh water because of the estuaries and marshes that flow through the sea.
This park is also a perfect place for camping, picnicking and trail-blazing with two nature trails through marshes, live oaks, cabbage-palmettoes, and long-leaf pines.
You're bound to see wildlife of all kinds like racoons, deer, shore birds and rare migrating birds. Observation towers are here too, so you can view the animals and see all over the island.
Park hours are 7 am to 10 pm.
