Confederate War Memorial Monument in Forsyth Park in Savannah, GA

Completed in 1879, the Confederate Monumental stands in the center of Forsyth Park and is a large column with a bronze soldier adorning the top. The monument is dedicated to those who fought for the Confederacy, and stands in the same park space where the Confederate men were drilled before being sent off to join the fight.
