Chart House in Savannah, GA

While it is part of a nationwide chain, the Chart House is full of the Southern charm that Savannah is known for.  One of the many things that makes Chart House unique is the building that it calls home. The building was built sometime before 1790 and is the oldest masonry building in Savannah. It once served as a cotton and sugar warehouse. Chart House was established in 1961 and has been serving the people of Savannah delicious entrees ever since. Their seafood and steak are legendary and the soups and salads are delicious. They are also very well known for their amazing desserts. There is also a large wine list that could prove to be the perfect compliment to your dinner. Another exciting aspect of Chart House is its location right on the Savannah River. Choose to sit outside on the deck or inside next to one of the large windows. From these locations you will be able to see the river traffic slowly float down the river.
