Get your hands dirty in these interactive displays from the Natural History Museum, Steinhart Aquarium, and the Morrison Planetarium. This museum of discovery is open year-round to play host to a world of family fun and has temporarily moved to the SoMa until 2008.
All species of freshwater and saltwater specimen, numbering in the hundreds, scurry around in the Steinhart Aquarium. Poison dart frogs, piranhas, dolphins, penguins, and sea turtles are just some of the highlights in the exhibits. The entry fee is inexpensive, but wait until the first Wednesday of any month and get in for free.
