Dedicated to preserving the history and education of the San Francisco Fire Dept., San Francisco has rebounded from fire destruction seven times, all during the Gold Rush period.
In this incredible museum, you'll see exciting exhibits telling the story of courage of volunteer firefighters, the birth of the era of professional firefighters, artifacts from the horse-drawn era, models of fire engines, die-cast toys, fire extinguishers,a nd much more.
- Admission is free, museum hours are Thursday-Saturday, 1 pm - 4 pm.
