Originally named Candlestick Park, and providing a home for the San Francisco Giants baseball team, Monster Park stands today with a revamped name and more physical resident; the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have been playing at Monster Park ever since 1971, though the park didn't start going by the Monster moniker until 2004.

Despite the name change however, you can still find professional football every autumn in the San Fran area.
