The three-week long Berkeley Jewish Music Festival showcases the music and culture of the Jewish people at various locations, including the Jewish Community in San Francisco.
All genres of music will be showcased with performances by the New Orleans Klezmer All-Stars, percussionist Roberto Juan Rodriguez, Yair Dalal, and many more.
Special workshops and seminars will present information and entertainment regarding the history and evolution of various types of Jewish music. An Israeli-style Purim Party will feature food, a DJ, dancing, and costumes, while other performances and workshop will focus on Jewish music from around the world, including Canada, Italy, and more!
