Join influential women from around the country at the International Women's Day celebration at the
War Memorial and Performing Arts Center in San Francisco.
For nearly a century, women around the world have celebrated this day to commemorate the courageous women who have helped women achieve greater equality in the their respective societies.
This event will focus on women, poverty, and HIV, and will feature several key speakers. Freedom from Hunter spokeswoman Kathleen Stack will join WGHI director Dr. Nancy Padian. Other key speakers include Megan Dunbar from the Economic Empowerment Program for Adolescents in Zimbabwe. A wide spectrum of topics will be covered during this all-important commemoration and empowerment event.
