Halloween Heroes at the Exploratorium in San Francisco, CA

Halloween Heroes, a Halloween-themed party and charity benefit for kids and their families, is held every year at the Exploratorium in San Francisco. This event, sponsored annually by the Wender Weis Foundation for Children, raises money to benefit the Exploratorium's educational programs for children as well as local charities that vary from year to year. The Exploratorium, a museum about art, science, and perception, is constantly named one of the top science museums in the world for children, and is a staple field trip in many city schools' curriculums.

The party is a real treat for kids and adults alike, as over 30 Bay Area celebrity guests attend, including professional athletes and media personalities. Kids can collect candy at trick or treat stations around the party, and food and beverages are catered by top Bay Area chefs and restaurants. Kids can also participate in arts and crafts, face painting and pumpkin carving while their families can bid on an exciting array of items at the event's silent auction. Every year, a charity or two is chosen to benefit from the event. Usually charities are local to the Bay Area and are committed to helping abused, underprivileged, or neglected children. Please contact the Exploratorium directly for information on this year's Halloween Heroes party and ticket prices.
