Twice a month, visitors can enter through the gates of the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar in San Diego, observing the site's many fascinating exhibitions- most of which can't be seen anywhere else in the world.
The tours offered at the Air Station are free of charge, made strictly for the benefit and education of the community. Tours include a demonstration of the Military Working Dog provided by the local military police, a flight line windshield tour of 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, and a tour of the Flying Leatherneck Aviation Museum.
Children less than ten years of age aren't permitted into the tours for safety reasons, and groups of 20 people or less may be asked to join a larger, already scheduled group.
